Hola People
How is you all? Tejas is great the weather is quite nice and i think we are going to get a nice game of football in today. This week at church we only had Jesus show up and it turns out that he is moving to Crane, Texas today! so we will have to pass him off to the Elders in Odessa i hope he stays in contact...other than that everybody else kind of bailed out...so i also got a new watch and running shoes which suggests that i might start running in the morning...imagine that. all is well here i hope you all are doing ok.

Love Elder Kleinman

Hello to all...i just decided to write my family letter right here today and see how it goes...this week has been going well...we had two people at church this week Max who is part of a part member family...we have known about him ever since i have been in Del Rio but we hadent been able to get a hold of him or his family...this week we did and he and his mother made it out to church. Max is 12 years old and hasnt really learned the gospel from childhood since the parents are less active and dont read the scriptures...we are really working to build the faith and testimony of the mother and other family members so that Max can have some positive pursuation from his family the situation reminds me of Mosiah chapter 26. anyhow it was a miracle that they came and we look forward to a greater change for the better in their family. the other that came was Jesus Chavez we caught him one day trying to sneak into his truck but we caught him...he is a pretty humble guy and he liked church....so yeah...recently i have been brought to reflect on testimony, what it is and what its for especially after fast and testimony meeting this sunday...all i can say is that i can feel a church wide push coming on about what a testimony really is...testimony meetings have become out of control in some cases...i think that it is a real hinderence to the work of the lord in a couple of ways...first of all for example we as missionaries declare that we are Christian that Jesus is the savior, the Son of God, the Messiah..yet when thy come to fast and testimony meeting RARELY will there be a focus on the Savior...as a matter of fact this sunday i was sitting with Jesus and i leaned over and mouthed to Elder Darnell to go and testify...he did and it was awesome.... Jesus felt the spirit at that point....the second way in which i believe that this is a hinderence is because many of the members dont know how to truly testify simply and clearly to their friends...we discussed this with the branch president and he feels the same way...anyhow i think its real important...enough with the boring stuff...today for PDAY we did some BBQ it was actually my first time actually doing it...we smoked up some ribs and pork it was fantastic...we played some baseball with a soccer ball while we waited...other than that we just worked our fannies off this week! love you all!
